Searching a student to Measure Sun Radiation with a Sillicon-cell Pyranometer

We are looking for a student of Physics, Telecommunications Bachelor or Electronics Engineer in the 2nd or 3rd year who wants to improve his knowledge in MATLAB and sensors.

If you are interested in learning how to measure sun Radiation come to our office in the Sciences Faculty or write to Prof. Andrés Roldán (amroldan@ugr.es).

+ Which Silicon-cell Pyranometer model do I need?

All SP-100, SP-200, and MP series silicon-cell pyranometers use the same silicon-cell detector. The model number you need depends on which output is compatible with your datalogger. Model numbers are listed below with their output:

SP-110: 0 to 350 mV = 0 to 1750 W m-2

Our sensor datasheet:

NEW: KUSB-3100Series

Interesting videos available here.

The MATLAB extension used to control the adquisition platform is here.

Note: You must use the 32-bit version of Data Acquisition Toolbox and MATLAB to use Keithley KUSB data acquisition devices. The 32-bit versions of Data Acquisition Toolbox and MATLAB can be installed on a 64-bit Windows OS.

Just read this file to understand the way MATLAB connect to the KUSB acquisition module.
